Spinach is not toxic for cats, but it is very high in oxalic acid, which blocks the body's ability to absorb calcium and can lead to kidney damage. Cats with bladder or kidney issues should never eat spinach. Cats should not eat spinach regularly, but a few leaves of plain, fresh, raw spinach is unlikely to harm your cat.
